The City Council requests grant for improvements to the Central Market (07/09/2016)

Jumilla City Council has applied for funding to the Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism and Employment for various reforms in the Central Market.

One of the actions would be the removal of the ceiling of the main hall, where stalls on market days are located.

It has recently been detected that is divesting the slats or wooden structure that supports it, modifying and sliding the removable false ceiling plaster covering it, breaking plates and deforming uniformity and flat form thereof.

This part of the reform has been valued at a cost of 23,479 euros and a deadline of one month.

The estimated cost for this reform is 11,474.68 euros and the execution time is two weeks.

The total amount of the two reforms to be made in the Central Market is 34,953.68 euros.

The maximum grant that could reach the Autonomous Community is, according to the rules of the competition, 14,000 euros, so the remaining amount (20,953.68 euros) would be assumed by the City of Jumilla.
