The violet bond against gender violence already appears in all the public centers of the locality (21/11/2016)

The purple ribbon that represents the fight against gender violence has been shining since this morning in all public centers in Jumilla.

The mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, accompanied by the Councilor for Equality and Social Policy, Salvi Pérez, several councilors of the Government, as well as the legal adviser Jose Cutillas and the psychologist of CAVI, Marta González, have placed the balcony of the City.

During the whole week there will be various activities.

On Tuesday, from 9.30 to 12.30 hours, an information desk will be held against gender violence in the Central Market of Abastos.

On the same day and on Thursday, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, the Personal Self-Defense Workshop for Women will be held at the Municipal Sports Pavilion, by Alejandro Flores, of the Dojo Bujinkan Jumilla Cultural Sports Association.

On Thursday, different workshops will be held to present the Center for Attention Against Gender Violence in Jumilla (CAVI).

At 11:00 am at the IMAS Senior Citizens Day Center and at 12:00 in the Jumilla Red Cross.

For Friday 25, International Day against Gender Violence, several activities are planned.

In the morning, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., in the Teatro Vico, 'Niñ-s', a storyteller in Equality directed to the groups of 3 ° of Primary of the locality will be represented.

In the afternoon, at 20.00 hours a silent concentration against gender violence will be held on the monolith of Paseo Lorenzo Guardiola.

At 8:30 pm, at the Vico Theater, the Manifesto against gender violence will be read by students from the IES Infanta Elena High School and also the screening of the short film 'El es perfecto', with the Participation of students Ana Martínez Pastor, Raquel Tomás Espinosa, Francisco Ramos Guardiola and Silvano Gómez Ramírez.

There will also be screened the film 'The Station of Women', an optimistic comedy about the departure of a group of women from situations of cultural domination.
