The Mayor of Jumilla, Juan Guardiola, and the vice president of the Federation of Soccer of the Region of Murcia, Bartolomé Molino, signed yesterday the agreement to donate to the City of Jumilla four defibrillators to be installed at the Municipal Sports Center La Hoya, which will count With two, as well as in the pavilions of the schools Miguel Hernández and San Francisco, which will have one per installation.
The City Council will take care of the installation, maintenance and training of the personnel for its correct use.
Currently, the Municipal Sports Center La Hoya and the Pavilion Carlos Garcia already had one each installation.
In 2015 the first one was acquired and the second one was put into operation, which was expired.
This initiative arises thanks to the collaboration agreement between the Football Federation and the Philips company, which will benefit about 80,000 athletes from 17 federations of the Region of Murcia, with the creation of cardioprotected environments in all Autonomous Community.
The board of directors and the assembly of the Football Federation unanimously approved last July to allocate the benefits of the next four exercises to adopt defibrillators all the facilities where the modalities of football and futsal are practiced.
This initiative is joined by the formation of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and prevention of sudden death through the use of the defibrillator that has been organizing the FFRM and in which have already formed the thousand collegiate football and football, being now the turn of coaches and managers.
Also through the eleven basic steps of the application CPR11 Safe Sport, promoted by doctors Ripoll and De Prado, in which the Mapfre Foundation also collaborates.
