The Council of Equality of the City of Jumilla and IES Infanta Elena have organized for this Wednesday an activity called 'Space for reflection' to be held at 20.00 hours in the room Gavilanes Cultural Center Roque Baños.
Antonio Lozano, professor of the Research Baccalaureate, will comment on the content of different genomic researches that for several years have been conducted and have been developed by students of the center.
Next, Isabel Bernal, 2nd grade student, will present the research she has developed in this course, entitled "Micromachismos".
It will tell the whole process of accomplishment of the same and the conclusions to which it has arrived.
The opening will be made by the Councilor for Equality, Salvi Pérez.
Micromachisms refer to macho attitudes that are carried out on a daily basis, and which go unnoticed because they are subtle, are assimilated as normal, but that are "shining" in the culture and relationships between men and women in society , Provoking gender inequalities. These subtle machinations, no less important, are found in all social spaces, in education, in the labor, family or leisure sphere, retaining the evolution towards real equality.
