The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia, in collaboration with the Local Police of Jumilla, has surprised two people while transporting more than a kilogram of hashish from Jumilla to the Albacete town of Hellín, who have been arrested as alleged perpetrators of crime Drug trafficking, seizing also the vehicle endowed with a double bottom to hide narcotic substances and more than one thousand euros in cash.
The action is framed within the services of prevention of public safety developed by the Benemérita to prevent and prosecute drug trafficking in the Altiplano region during the month of August which, in addition, have allowed the detection and denunciation of a fortnight of infractions by Possession and consumption of drugs on public roads.
The line of investigation initiated focused on detecting the narcotic supply routes, as well as, in the second instance, the recipients and final consumers.
In one of the phases of the operation carried out in the Altiplano region, a series of devices for the identification of persons and inspection of vehicles capable of transporting illicit substances were established, resulting in the apprehension of a total of 12 grams of hashish and twenty Of cocaine doses.
In a second police intervention, a van generated certain suspicions to the agents by an unusual circulation in the urban helmet of Jumilla, reason why they were proceeded to his arrest to discard any type of illicit.
The exhaustive inspection of the vehicle allowed the agents to locate, in a double bottom practiced in one of its seats of the same, a plastic bag that contained great amount of hashish, effecting at that moment the arrest of the two occupants of the van like presuntos Perpetrators of drug trafficking offenses.
In addition to the hash tablets seized, with a total weight of 1,140 kg, the agents seized 1,090 euros carried by the arrested and the van used to conceal and transport the drug.
From the research developed it follows that the destination of the narcotic substances had as destination the supply of points of sale of drug of the locality Albacete of Hellín.
The Civil Guard has carried out the action in collaboration with the Canine Unit of the Local Police of Jumilla.
The Spanish detainees, aged 27 and 47, residents of Hellín (AB) and with background, the drug seized, the effects seized and the investigations have been made available to the Court of Instruction number 1 of Jumilla (Murcia).
