The City Council of Jumilla will request the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports the implementation for the 2018/19 course of the training cycle of medium degree of conduction of physical sports activities in the natural environment in the IES Infanta Elena, taking into account the possibility of to give continuity to these studies with the superior degree in the neighboring municipality of Yecla.
This was unanimously approved by the regular plenary meeting of September held last night after a joint motion presented by the three political groups.
Likewise, it was agreed unanimously and also with a joint motion, the valorization of the legacy of Dr. Marín Padilla, showing the will to be located in Jumilla in a center that becomes a space for study and research.
To this end, future budgets will be allocated for this purpose and the Autonomous Community, University of Murcia and a number of public and private institutions will be requested to join the project.
The plenary also approved an extraordinary credit and a credit supplement for the application of the budget surplus from the balance of the Treasury for a total of 2,391,278.55 euros with which a total of 15 sustainable investments will be carried out.
It was approved with the positive vote of the PSOE and the abstention of PP and IU-LV.
The General Account for 2016 also went ahead because of the quality vote of the president, since both PP and IU-LV objected.
The motion of the PP was denied, with the opposing votes of PSOE and IU-LV, which requested the extension of the hours of summer playmates for the next year and increase the supply of centers.
In this plenum he also noticed the resolutions of Mayor's Office, delegated councilors and judicial decisions.
