The balcony of the City Hall of Jumilla will be illuminated in green on Friday morning to commemorate the World Day against Cancer that is celebrated this Sunday, February 4.
The Councilor for Public Health, Lucía Jiménez, and the secretary of the Local Board in Jumilla of the AECC, Josefina Martínez, presented the organized activities, which also include the installation of two information tables for the next Tuesday morning located in the Central Market and the Vico Theater.
In addition, next Friday 9, Radio Jumilla will broadcast live a special program with the presence of psychologist Antonia Galiana and social worker Víctor Lapeña, both of the AECC in Murcia.
The mayor of the area has indicated that: "This year we have been more involved to give greater prominence to the fight against cancer in general, without focusing especially on the fight against breast cancer as on other occasions."
On the other hand, Josefina Martínez, reiterated that in the association they are always "willing to help" and reviewed all the services offered both locally and regionally.
