A total of fifteen unemployed undertake a course in carpentry and furniture (02/09/2010)

The Employment and Training Service (SEF) has awarded the City of Jumilla a grant to do some carpentry courses aimed at a total of 15 unemployed, as confirmed by the council responsible for this area Jesus Sanchez.

In this way it has been notified by the SEF on awarding the grant to the town of Jumilla, "thus meeting a request we have done over the different exercises to be carried out training activities aimed mainly at unemployed workers" , says Sánchez.

In this case, the grant is 30,400 euros for courses to 15 young "specializing in woodworking and furniture workers, people who have dedicated themselves to carpentry and joinery, in general," says the councilman.

The beginning of these courses is expected over the last quarter of 2010 and will last until the end of the first quarter of 2011.

These actions consist of a total of 320 hours.

Employment Councilman added that these courses "will benefit not only learn these unemployed but also have the objective of the repair, maintenance and building maintenance and utilities in woodwork and furniture."

The course is part of the Regional Operational Programme which is supported with European Social Funds from the 2007-2013 plan
