The curator of the exhibition is Plácido Guardiola and as we read in his blog 'The Rendrijero' on the show "the adjectives are justified by the volume, quality and age of the negative plates and found they were made in Jumilla, in that sense, I do not think we find something similar in the years ahead. Second, the photographic work of Oscar Vaillard transcends history and scope Jumillano is more, I would say that within the photographic legacy of Vaillard, even the part and time Jumilla referred to is not the most fruitful and relevant, as its first stage in 1980 to 1900 is the best, especially the shots taken on largely Lorca and Alicante. "

According Guardiola Vaillard practiced all forms of photography, including pioneering stereoscopic images, he founded a film production company and shot along with his partner Marin the first documentary film of Alicante and Murcia. "

For the curator and as published in that blog "his legacy, therefore, not exhausted as the exhibition opens its doors shows that although the substance of the developments referred to Jumilla, just collect 10% of volume. What this exhibition shows, pardon the metaphor, is the tip of the iceberg of his work photo, made in our town. Having a clear idea of his work will require further investigation and more shows to come. "
