Last Monday was opened in the exhibition hall of Caja Murcia, the sample "I wear it ', organized by the Association of Artisans of Jumilla.
It can be seen about 100 items handmade by a total of 16 artisans from the city.
At the opening were present, along with numerous artisans, crafts Councilman Ildefonso Jimenez, the president and vice president of the association, Eduardo Gea and Maria Moreno, respectively.
Ildefonso Jimenez said in his speech that "the council once again show their support to the craft of Jumilla and is a very important sector."
The council said it "is an ideal area to represent a city and export an image to the outside, so the work of artisans is very important, as they are able to create an article on his mind, then produce it with his hands and if they can sell outside the city, markets and exports, we add value to the city. Jiménez commended the work of the craftsmen and encouraged citizens to visit this exhibition.
For its part, Gea said that "this is an exhibition of accessories for women, very varied and the best thing is that people come to contemplate."
Gea ceded the floor to Vice President who said that "the association of craftsmen in Jumilla is to present the work of more artisans."
Maria Moreno added that "this exhibition will see different items, jewelry, hats, fans, brooches, embroidery, the quality does not lie in the different materials used, but in that secret language that each craftsman in his hands, every job has its own personality and any item can be adapted to the tastes of each person. "
Finally, the vice president said that "all items will be available after the end of the sample."
The exhibition can be viewed until 29 October, Monday to Friday from 18:30 to 20:30.
