About fifty people have shown in Jumilla, her disapproval of the abuse.

It was in the concentration that has taken place in front of City Hall in the International Day Against Violence Against Women.

In the text have been present various council of the corporation of the three municipal groups and the Mayor of Jumilla Francisco Abellán.

Women Councilwoman Fuensanta Olivares has read a manifesto, then has held a minute's silence for victims of domestic violence and then attendees were shown a red card 'to the abuser.

The manifesto read, "In the one year commemoration of November 25, International Day Against Violence Against Women, we want to move Jumillano citizenship, especially to all those women who are experiencing domestic violence, a message of encouragement, it is possible to escape the cycle of violence. "

It ends with a message: "Because before the violence, there is hope."

This concentration is one of the actions from the area of Women of the municipality of Jumilla, was made in commemoration of this day.

It has also carried out the campaign "Jumilla red card to abuser 'in which various groups in the city have posed showing a red card as a symbol of their rejection of this social scourge.

These groups have participated, the municipal corporation, representatives of the Fourth District football team, a group of immigrants, representatives of the Health Center, students and teachers of institutes and Archbishop Infanta Elena Lozano, representatives of Civil Protection, a group of older people's Day Centre, Local Police and the Chief Officer, representatives of the employment workshop Gemina and representatives of the Civil Guard Corps.

The campaign has the support of the Autonomous Region of Murcia.
