The Department of Public Safety for the second consecutive year, has launched the campaign "Trade safe ', which, this time extending both the Christmas holidays as a sales campaign.

So begins December 10 and lasts until Jan. 31, as confirmed by the council Public Safety Primitivo Gonzalez.

This campaign is conducted in collaboration with the commercial sector and the Department of Commerce.

Thus, Jumilla Local Police will visit all establishments to offer advice for any type of incident that may occur on these dates.

Its purpose, as happened last year, is to increase security within the town against possible thefts and robberies, and at the same time, offer a quick solution to various types of incidents involving injury or a problem for their owners (accidental or intentional damage, both to be open to the public during the hours that remain closed, etc.).

As pointed out by Councilman Primitivo Gonzalez the last 2009 campaign was very positive and so did we learn from the commercial sector, and this year to continue and expand the sales, since both Christmas as much in sales dates movement and are conducive to incidents. "

Gonzalez recalled that "it is to give security support to both businesses and people who shop at these days."

Members of the Police for this campaign will be two morning and evening patrols to tour the shops around the town, to give security to them.

Last year, the product of this campaign-census produced a report on the security of the stores.

Merchants can direct the local police to bring all those issues they consider of interest, via email or telephone policialocal@jumilla.org Local Police 968 78 40 40.

Like last year, the police offer to collaborate so that all traders take self-protective behavior to avoid risk of robbery and theft.

It also offers a number of rules in order to prevent theft with the security measures that have them installed.
