Employment Workshop Gemina, in the first phase, is performing in different buildings, including school Miguel Hernández.
As indicated by the Councillor for Employment Workshops, Yolanda Fernandez, the evolution of this workshop has been very successful for students who are taking full advantage of this opportunity given to them in any of the three modalities of the workshop, Painting home help and Geriatrics.
In this first phase, specifically in the form of painting, the twelve students have been painting in various municipal buildings, among them local and Alqueria Fuente del Pino, Mercado de San Juan, Club of the elderly in the neighborhood San Juan, and now public school performances Miguel Hernández.
As for the rest of modalities, Geriatrics and home help, the students are doing in their own practices of home help service provided by the Town Hall in the Nursing Home Santa Teresa de Jornet and geriatric Villa Sofia, ending in Municipal Day Care Centre when it starts.
According to the councilman, "there are several requests for live performances and other public buildings will be fulfilled in terms of time and the cost thereof."
Employment Workshop has a cost of 694,812.20 euros, of which the City provides 3562.28 euros, with the remainder funded by the European Social Fund, through a program of the Employment Service and Training and lasts twelve months.
