A group of 34 students from 3 º ESO IES "Infanta Elena" traveled to France from 8 to 18 April under the program of student exchange activities of the French department of the institute organizes every year , according to reports from the center.
The students were accompanied by their teachers Pascuala Sánchez, Pedro and Antonio Azorín Illán Augustine and stayed in the homes of French students who have already visited Jumilla during the month of March.
The aim of the exchange to France is to implement all the knowledge of French acquired in the classroom.
Therefore, Jumillano students attended classes at the College "L'Oriette" of Cosse-le-Vivien and also practiced the language with French families.
But he also took the opportunity to visit the cities and monuments of the environment.
Thus, young people were able to visit the Mont Saint Michel, Saint Malo, Laval, Angers and amusement park Terra Botanica and Le Mans, where he also discovered were the Circuit City 24 hours and the Automobile Museum.
In addition, students were welcomed in the City of Cosse-le-Vivien by the mayor of the town, Joseph Louapre, who spoke of the links being established between the two sites, visited a chocolate factory and a farm where he performed foie gras and could practice golf swing.
The balance of trade "can not be more positive as students discover life in a French town, practicing the language and see the importance of learning languages," he stated.
