Like many other health and emergency groups in Spain, the Civil Protection Group Jumilla is also working on different tasks in Lorca, as confirmed by the council Public Safety Primitivo Gonzalez.
Every day, since last May 15 are moving to a total of ten volunteers to Murcia town suffered a devastating earthquake.
These volunteers are specialized in logistical support units.
At present more than 3,000 Lorca still in the street, homeless, and located in different camps enabled.
The main task of the Civil Defence volunteers Jumilla is to help in the work of humanitarian aid delivery.
So the first day were incorporated into the system set up in Camp Huerto de la Rueda for census of the population located in the same.
They also assist at the reception, organization and management of humanitarian aid received in Lorca and are responsible for food distribution in two other camps in different parts of the city.
This collaboration will remain as long as necessary at that location, "in order to guarantee them minimum conditions of food and shelter," said Gonzalez.
