The Department of Social Policy has given a family school aimed at young people between 13 and 17 years (07/06/2011)

The Department of Social Policy within the Family program, has taught a course Family School, aimed at teenagers between 13 and 17.

This workshop was conducted at the Center for Social Services, in the afternoon with a total of eight sessions.

Attendance has been somewhat irregular, as they started 16 young men and women and ended up 8.

The "School Family" has been given by a family therapist and psychologist at the Center for Social Services.

The primary objective of the workshop was "to ensure that adolescents learn to channel their emotions that occur both inside and outside their families."

Among the achievements and has been listed by the two boys and girls, young people have been "learning to know a little better, meet new people, learn to relax, knowing the importance of taking hours to go to sleep, learn what is assertiveness (affirmation of the certainty of a thing), and learn how to implement it, learn to ask for things, and others learn to be denied to me, learn to realize that I grow physically and as a person, learning a little to control the anger, and that the defects can be improved, among other findings.
