The Socialists Jumillano Valcárcel not require waiving the capital gains tax to higher incomes (23/10/2011)

The Socialist Group Ordinary Assembly has approved a resolution requiring Valcárcel, who does not give the collection of wealth tax on income whose equity is less than 700,000 euros and the Government of Spain approved its application to Autonomous Communities last September.

Socialists argue that requirement, based on the economic situation in the Region of Murcia, in which 30% of the population lives below the poverty line, ie with a monthly income below 450 euros person and 1,500 families had all members unemployed.

Furthermore the level of child poverty touches 35%, the same percentage of cases of school dropouts, a factor that provides the basis for the medium-term social exclusion.

With this tax the regional government could raise 21 million euros would be earmarked to pay various debts of the Community, Councils, Health, Education, and outstanding support groups, associations and social organizations.

Similarly, from the Socialist Group showed support for the cleaning staff of educational institutions who are on strike, and workers / as the day center of our town, who spent several months without receiving their wages for default in payment by the Autonomous Community of the companies that have contracted the ministries demanding that they depend on the immediate payment of those amounts.
