Submitted Campaign "grows in security" (02/03/2012)

This morning has been presented in the Plenary Hall of the campaign "Grow in Security", organized between the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment, Region of Murcia and the city of Jumilla.

John Calabuig, and the representative of the company Sico, Engineering and Safety, D.

It is noteworthy that acceded to the Campaign, all local schools (Stone Cross, Prince Felipe, Miguel Hernandez, Carmen Conde, San Francisco, Mariano Suarez, Our Lady of the Assumption and Santa Ana), with the participation of two hundred and fifty students enrolled in Primary 5 °, which are targeted this year, achieving one hundred percent participation of centers, which means greater participation in previous centers.

This campaign is intended that children are aware of the risks that can occur daily through three channels: the risks that may occur at home (falls, burns, bruises, cuts and wounds, electricity, poisons, choking, fires), the risks in the school (classroom, in the dining room in the laboratory, in the gym, in the computer room in the infirmary, in the toilets ...) and risks in the street (walking, moped, bicycle and in the park).

The image of the campaign is led by Gil Lopez family and his pet cat Prevenix, which will illustrate the risks and the smaller its "preveconsejos" to prevent major accidents.

Starting on March 7, will begin visits to schools to hold in each, lectures, lasting approximately 45 minutes by the company Sico and Safety Engineering.

The students will have educational material, fun and easy to use, how to learn playing CDs, a website available to all www.creceenseguridad.com and through social networks, where students, teachers and the general public can make their suggestions and queries.

Once you have completed the lectures in schools, students can present their work.

It is anticipated that awards of this issue occurs at an early date the International Day for Safety and Health at Work, given the importance of this date with the meaning of the season but is yet to achieve.

It is, ultimately, help to create a lifestyle preventive, so that is already rooted in the time of entering the labor market, either as a worker or employer.
