Jumilla participated for the first time as official town in the days of exaltation of the drum 2012 (21/03/2012)

This past weekend the people of the L'Alcora in Castellon, was tasked to host the XXVII Conference of Exaltation of the Drum and Bass Drum, where Jumilla through Christ Drums Association of Blood, attended for the first time people such as official journeys.

This event was attended by representatives of municipalities in Spain, where the drum and bass, are part of its history.

Groups of 17 municipalities that have their roots in cultural tradition.

The National Conference of Drum and Drum were attended by groups of Baena (Cordoba), Hellin, Agramón and Tobarra (Albacete), and Alcora Alzira (Valencia) and municipalities of Aragon and Teruel, Gaen Urrea, Alagón , Albalate the Archbishop, Alcorisa, Fuentes de Ebro, Samper de Calanda, Valderrobres, Calanda, Hijar, Puebla de Hijar and Alcaniz.

The events began on Friday with the reception of participants and the opening of the conference held in the Auditorium Caixa Rural by Jose Luis Esteban and Francisco Aparicio, the first being the precursor of the drums in Alcora and province, and the second, as the follower and he took the witness.

At 12, began the official parade through the streets of L'Alcora where Jumilla was represented by 50 members of the Association of Christ drums of the Blood, who played along the parade route touches the association officers.

The Saturday morning saw the official reception where the Mayor of Jumilla, Enrique Jimenez, accompanied by the Councillor of Celebration, Antonio Valero, and members of the board of the Association of Drums, were received in the City of L'Alcora and where we proceeded to exchange gifts.

in the square of the Blood, there was the central act of the conference with the act of exaltation, Saturday was the day crowded with thousands of drummers, being the most focused event where the Plaza Spain, where everything they created a spontaneous silence broke in unison, accompanied by a sound and light show projected on the facades of the houses in the square, where they found the giant posters of each people.
