The project includes hiring two people to the project

Councillor for Equality, Alicia Abellan, reported that on Monday remembered the Governing Board request to join the call for aid for social welfare projects of "La Caixa", with a Violence Prevention project in the municipality to which, the Department of Equality has prepared a project "Prevention of violence in the town of Jumilla", amounting to EUR 53,333.00.

The project primarily aims at raising awareness against Gender Violence working on active policies of equal opportunities.

For which the project is structured into four blocks:

- Workshops on self-esteem, social skills, emotional control, etc., aimed at local women including the districts of the municipality and the focus is on improving the physical and emotional health of participants to avoid isolation.

- Workshop on awareness and prevention of violence from equality, aimed at students of secondary and Associations of Mothers and Fathers.

- Workshops for conciliation and resolution of family disputes.

Aimed at a 15 or 20 families.

- Individual treatment and / or group.

Aimed at women at risk.

To implement the project, which is expected to last the whole year 2013, includes hiring two technicians / as, Psychologist / ay Worker / Social at a rate of 18 hours per week throughout the year 2013.
