The House approved the "rescue" of the Supply of drinking water in the districts of the Fuente del Pino and The Alquería (20/06/2012)

Extraordinary plenary session was held yesterday with five items on the agenda, most notably the rescue of water service in the districts and La Fuente del Pino Alquería, Jumilla now being Water, a joint venture responsible for managing the complete cycle water, which assumes full powers.

This agreement, championed by the Mayor, Enrique Jimenez, was ruled by unanimity of the three municipal groups.

The Mayor stated that since the year 2000, the joint venture constituted Water Jumilla, to plunge the management of water cycle in the municipality, there were still two exceptions where water management was assumed by representatives of the residents of these villages.

Enrique Jimenez stated that since the beginning of this term, began work to enable the agreement is adopted today, and from that first moment has been very attentive to the health and safety of this basic service in these districts.

The cost of taking this service amounts to 250,000 euros of which takes over the joint venture under benefit this year and next, as well as the Fund's investment plan of these two annuities.
