Among the summer activities of the Artisan's House of Jumilla, the Department of Craft in collaboration with the Regulatory Council of the DO Murcia cheese Murcia al Vino Cheese, have organized a tasting of cheeses.
The event will be this coming Thursday June 28 from 20:00 pm, registration is still free to register in advance at the Department of Citizen Participation in Socio-Cultural Center located Roque Baños, 5th floor or by phone 968 958 640.
They receive practical training in the art of cheese tasting and learn in detail the characteristics of the Murcian goat cheese covered by the Protected Designation of Origin 'Queso de Murcia Curado and Fresh' and 'Queso de Murcia al Vino'.
The content of the session includes a multimedia presentation with theoretical concepts in preparation for the tasting, which highlights the traditional methods of manufacture, history and sensory analysis.
Finally, we performed a guided tasting of three cheeses (Queso de Murcia al Vino Cheese, Queso Fresco and Murcia Murcia Curado), which are described in each case, attributes such as smell, texture and flavors.
