The Mayor has recently attended the Assembly of the Association for the Development of the Northeast Regional and the Board ACEVIN latter in Madrid.

This week has held the Extraordinary Assembly of the Association for the Development of the Northeast Regional in Yecla, and which discussed various issues such as the implementation of three projects intraregional collaboration between four local action groups in the Murcia region of LEADER , one of them will lead the Regional Development Association of Northeast Region of Murcia, which belongs to our municipality, a project called maximizing the potential of biomass in rural areas, a project that will be presented to the Ministry of Agriculture, which aims to meet the country's potential as a source of supply of materials capable of transformation into biomass, creating synergies with local manufacturers and biomass boiler and spread the benefits of this fuel to potential applicants.

The other two projects will be lead by the other groups, one of which is the route of the Iberians, and a mobile application "Rural Murcia APPS", both tourism component, in order to promote and improve the rural areas Region of Murcia.

Apps can be downloaded with this tourism resources of the area with information on where to eat and what to visit, for example.

Last week also held Board ACEVIN (Spanish Association of Wine Cities) in Madrid, where he was present the Mayor, Enrique Jimenez, accompanied by the Head of Economy and Employment, Angel Perez and which discussed various issues, including the status of the Agreement between the Ministry of Agriculture and ACEVIN, to promote the Wine Routes of Spain and approve the hiring of two companies, one for technical assistance to new routes to join (5 in total ), and another to do the renewal and review of audits of all Wine Routes.

Besides this it was agreed to add two new members, the City of Miguel Esteban, in Toledo and the Provincial de Lugo, in the DO of Ribera Sacra ACEVIN and participate in the Cultural Route of the Council of Europe, iter-VITIS .

Possibly the next Annual General Meeting, to be held in the City of Palma del Condado, Huelva.
