Presented activities to commemorate the International Women's Day (28/02/2013)

The Department of Equality presented yesterday at a press conference, scheduled activities to mark the International Women's Day, which takes place next Friday, March 8.

The Councillor for Equality, Alicia Abellán, and Equality Agent, Paqui Ruiz, shelled program activities around March 8.

Meanwhile Ruiz reported that the workshops are included in the program, one of coeducation, aimed at parents of school age, which is being developed at the Center for Child Care, and which also has babysitting.

This workshop as beginning on Tuesday, aims to influence the need for education in equality in homes and families and contribute to other work being done in other fields.

The workshop is free, offers its second meeting Thursday, and interested persons may attend it still taking place today, Thursday, and from 5 to 7 March, from 19.00 to 21.00 hours, at the Center Child Care in the Arsenal site.

The second of the workshops included in the program will be held on March 13, Wednesday.

It is a self-esteem workshop, part of the Bank's Experience, offering active + Health Association and taught Prosalud Psychology.

The workshop will be held from 17.30 to 19.30 hours in Building Sociocultural Roque Baños and requires no pre-registration.

Meanwhile Alicia Abellán informed of other activities to be held next week, starting on Monday, March 4, opening the exhibition Drawing Contest II Equality, and prizes will be awarded the same.

It will take place at las18, 00 am in the Plenary Hall of the City of Jumilla.

On Tuesday May, from 10.00 to 13.00 hours, in the Central Market will present a show of works by Associations of local women.

And on Friday, March 8, Jumilla morning host the Meeting of Associations of Women of the Villa de Fuente Alamo, bringing together in Jumilla nearly 500 women who visit the city attractions such as the Archaeological Museum or the Teatro Vico.

And at night, at 21.00 pm and held the Concert Hidden in the shadows, a voice and piano concert performed by students of the Music Conservatory of Murcia.
