Among other activities, the next March 21 will be distributed forest plants shrubs, at 11.30 am in front of the Teatro Vico.
The Department of Environment and Gardens, in collaboration with the Directorate General for the Environment, the Ministry of Presidency, have prepared various activities commemorating the World Forestry Day.
On the one hand, on March 21 at 11.30, will be distributed at the door of the Teatro Vico, forest shrub species to the citizens of the municipality.
On the other hand, and addressed to the youngest, has convened a school competition of free speech entitled "Arbor Day" where, until 18 March, the Centers for Education and Primary submit a maximum of two works per center .
The two winners will work in their respective centers develop an environmental education workshop, which will be taught by the Department of Environment.

The objective of celebrating this day is to generate the trees love children, through their knowledge, and motivate them to become active agents of care and respect for the trees, promote the role of the community education in changing attitudes towards environmental issues and promote cooperation, ensuring that all people enjoy a more prosperous future.
