The Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives in the region, Fecoam, held its General Assembly this afternoon at Bodegas San Isidro in Jumilla.

The event will begin at 18:30 am, in the presence of a broad representation of agricultural cooperatives, industry organizations, financial institutions and regional government, with President Ramón Luis Valcárcel head.

During the assembly will proceed to the approval of the 2012 accounts, the management report and the proposal for action this year.

Fecoam president, Santiago Martínez Gabaldon, will use his speech to discuss the topics of greatest interest and relevance to the industry.

Also be held, starting at 20 hours, the ceremony distinctions Agricultural Cooperative of the Year, which this time will fall to José Carrión, former president of BSI, and the 2013 Golden Badge Peter Gomaríz, known as Perico 'the Colorao', one of the people that has fought to bring water to the region.
