Over 180 people leave the unemployment rolls in Jumilla (02/08/2013)

In Jumilla have been 183 people that have left the unemployment rolls last July, being the best figure for months.

With these figures we find ourselves in a situation similar to that in April 2010.

The regional government said today the positive trend of the data on the registered unemployment rate in the region of Murcia experienced in July, the biggest drop in the past 11 years and the best figure since the beginning of the crisis.

In July, the drop in the number of unemployed was 1.51 percent, representing 2,272 fewer people in June, although the executive was cautioned against this data and expressed the need to continue working so that the total registered unemployment, which stands at 148 460 unemployed, continue to decline.

Emphasizes the evolution of youth unemployment, which in July has made more positive figures.

The rate decreased by 2.87 percent, representing 419 fewer young unemployed, reaching the figure at 14,170.

It has also been favorable evolution in the group of people aged 25 to 44 years, whose unemployment has fallen 1.82 percent, which in absolute terms represents a decrease of 1,453 fewer unemployed.

The registered unemployment among those over 45, the figure is positive with 400 fewer unemployed.

As for hiring data for the month of July, the figure recorded in the region was 64 445, representing an increase of 2.49 percent, 1,568 more than in the previous month.

Also, the number of permanent contracts in July totaled 3,393 a 13.52 percent growth and more than 404 contracts in June.

Also, the average membership to Social Security in the Region of Murcia in July stood at 488,723 persons involving absolute increase of 492 over the previous month.

By sector

By economic sector source of unemployment in July all sectors of economic activity have reduced unemployment except agriculture.

The biggest drop occurred in construction, with a reduction in the number of unemployed of 3.27 percent, less than 756 people in June.

For its part, the industry registered a decline of 2.43 percent, 454 fewer unemployed.

Finally, although to a lesser extent, the services sector also shows a drop in the figure, 1.30 percent, which translates into 1,122 fewer unemployed.

The unemployed from the agricultural sector grew by 2.24 percent, representing over 242 registered unemployed, while July is a month of traditional agriculture and rising unemployment is usually the only sector that does not reduce unemployment.

In absolute numbers there are a total of 11,051 registered unemployed in agriculture, 18,226 in industry, 22,345 in construction and 85,502 in the service sector.

For his part in the group formed by those seeking their first job in July were 11,518 people standing, 2.51 percent less than the previous month, which in absolute terms means 296 people less than in June.
