The next day, October 5, 2013, will be held in the town on Bands Festival "Ciudad de Jumilla" organized by the Association Jumillana Friends of Music, which this year has XX Edition.
For this edition is noteworthy three major developments in which all sectors of the AJAM are working, with great enthusiasm and a huge effort, both working and economically.
The first big news is that at the request of the local board of Jumilla, Spanish Association Against Cancer, the amount of the ticket will be given for the benefit of the association.
Tickets are being sold in the Jurisdictions Cl 3 Low in Video Studio Santiago, at the price of 8.0 € chair, boxes and planteas, and 5.0 € localities general.
There is also the so-called "Tier 0" for those who want to make voluntary contributions.
Tickets are sold in more than 80%, so it is expected that these days until the festival capacity is completed Vico Theatre.
Another novelty or incentive for this year is that the band is invited MUSIC UNIT GENERAL AIR ACADEMY SAN JAVIER.
The origins of the Music Unit of the General Air Academy back to the creation of the Music of the Army between 1940 and 1943.
Since its inception, this unit has mainly music made, provide support musician / student Squadron military ranks, in various military related activities, such as parades, Juras Flag, Surrender Delivery Offices and Honors domestic and foreign authorities.
He has made several recordings, highlighting in collaboration with the Choir "Fernández Caballero" at the Teatro Romea Murcia Murcia with popular themes, and Compact Disc was recorded in 1998 containing an excellent selection of military music and lyrics.
In January 2013 the Music Unit of the General Air Academy is composed of 14 men and women of professional troops and 29 NCOs, all under the baton of its director, Major Armando Bernabeu Andreu.
And the culmination of the events of the XX Festival of Bands, and with him encouragement to participate and cooperate more with the purposes of the Spanish Association Against Cancer, during the days before the festival, the Ajam recorded a disc with works of our beloved and admired Roque Baños Lopez, and the young composer Oscar Navarro.
The album, which will be recorded in the Teatro Vico facilities in several closed meetings, to be completed with relevant direct shots on 5 October.

If all goes well, and there is no further problem, the disc will be presented and offered for sale, the next day, November 17, taking advantage of the feast of St. Cecilia.
The sale price of the disc is 10 €, and profits from its sale will be transferred to the Spanish Association Against Cancer.
The festival will start at 19.30 hours, with the usual parade of the participating bands from the Plaza del Rollo by Cl Canovas del Castillo, to the Teatro Vico where they will be received by the authorities, and 20.00 hours will start the concert.

The XX Band Music Festival "Ciudad de Jumilla", ends with the Spanish wine offered by the association to the musicians, in the lounge of the food market.
