The children's activities scheduled from the Department of Culture and the SCL become House Museum this weekend with the workshop "Create your herbal", focused to inform children jumillanas the properties and characteristics of some of the herbaceous more characteristics of the municipality.
Taking advantage of the seasonal autumn period, and before deciduous trees lose leaves, children will come into a recreational and educational field trip to collect some samples to build your own herbarium.
The activity is aimed at children aged between 5 and 12 years and through it, participants will learn about the different kinds of leaves, its role and uses of hand Lenci Francisco botanical expert, who also will explain the process for making correctly an herbal where to go collecting leaves of trees and plants in the environment.
The event will take place between the Garden of the King Don Pedro and the Ethnographic Museum of Natural Sciences this Saturday October 26, from 10.00 to 13.00, and after, the young apprentice botanical herbarium will be their first home.
The activity will cost 5 euros, being the limited places.
