On Saturday, the Ethnographic Museum of Natural Sciences hosted the children's activity "Create your herbal", organized by the Department of Culture and SCL House Museum, in order to conscious children of the locality of the important to preserve the natural heritage.

Under this premise, the "young researchers" came early in the morning to the Garden of King Don Pedro for trees and shrubs that populate the place, study their characteristics and sampling.

Later, at the museum, were classified leaves were collected and saved to a herbalist who are prepared for the occasion, and which were pointing the characteristics of these leaves in their respective tabs.

Francisco Lenci, curator of the Museum of Ethnography and Natural Sciences, was commissioned to conduct the activity.

The next child activity takes place on Saturday November 9, this time in the Archaeological Museum, where children will learn a little more about Roman culture, specifically on the mosaics.

In this way, they will know which houses the museum, and may draw your own.
