Roman history and its mosaics, next child activity organized from the Department of Culture (05/11/2013)

The next Saturday, November 9, children of Jumilla has a new date with history, with child activity "Roman Mosaics", to be held in the Archaeological Museum Jerónimo Molina, and in which one of the little known the most representative expressions of Roman culture, its mosaics, and the meaning that these entail.

The event will start with a talk and explanation on the ground of Roman Art Museum, where children will learn the various forms and techniques of Roman mosaic in general, taking as an example, those found in the Villa of the Cypresses, located at the feet of Santa Ana del Monte.

After the talk will be given a template and tiles to build your own mosaic, and implement what you have learned in this way.

The cost is 5 euros, like other children's activities scheduled by the Department of Culture and SCL House Museum, and the hours will be from 11.00 am to 13.15 pm.
