The world of minerals will be the next stop to make the cultural agenda of this week, with the second part of the workshop "Mineralízate", a proposal that Culture Department invites you to visit these materials by expert in mineralogy, Angel Francisco Cutillas.
On 3 August, started the workshop with a visit to the old farm of La Celia mines, where young and old ancient minerals collected heap, later in the afternoon, properly classified facilities and Ethnography Museum Natural Sciences.
This Saturday November 16 will repeat the experience, but this time in the quarry known as "Cerro González", which will have the opportunity to collect calcites and dolomites that abound in the field.
Again be Angel Francisco Cutillas, the workshop leader, as museum curator.
The workshop is free and is sponsored by the Department of Culture and Tourism and the collaboration of "La Casa del Museo SCL".
