The Councillor for Public Safety, Marina Garcia, attended this week at the Ministry of the Presidency, the Governing Council of the Regional School of Local Police in the Region of Murcia, which was approved among other things, the training program for next year designed to equip local police knowledge and accurate procedures in their daily work.
The Ministry of Presidency, through the Regional School of Local Police, expand training and professional specialization of the local police in the Region of Murcia through the Training Plan 2014, which includes over 36 training activities and more than 1,500 hours teaching training aimed at improving safety in the municipalities of the Community.
Training Plan 2014
The Training Plan 2014 consists of six modules targeted training, training templates, courses and seminars, pathways and aptitude tests, in order to adapt the learning needs of the members of the local police.
The rules update, the traffic area and the operational and police intervention constitute the core contents of the lifelong learning needs to update their knowledge, skills and techniques to enable them to better perform their duties.
The Plan also provides continuity for the organization of training activities on the reports and accident reconstruction (Sketching, photography and application of computing resources for reconstruction), the practical application of the investigation of prosecution, police operations, self-defense, techniques to address conflict and police intervention with children, wife and family.
Maintaining distance training in the Training Plan 2014, is an established to facilitate access to training, mainly policemen belonging to municipalities of Murcia remote resource.

Training actions

The training plan includes three selective courses to provide adequate training to aspiring categories of corporal, sergeant and officer, to enable them to exercise their profession and the performance of the functions assigned to each category.

Similarly, the strength of the local police of Region 16 will participate in structured training at different levels and degrees of specialization itineraries.

Activity Report 2013
The Governing Council of the Regional School of Local Police Murcia also noted the progress of memory training activities developed by the School of Local Police in the current year, in which 2,529 applications were received strength of the local police, with a maximum of four training activities and an aptitude test for students.
