The mayor of Jumilla, Enrique Jimenez, was today released the names of the nine winners of the 2013 Awards Hypnos this issue, in the various categories that are recognized, which is to honor those individuals, associations or companies whose work to result positively in Jumillano social fabric.

Commitment to Culture Award 2013: Ms Margarita Abellan Abellan

Business Development Award 2013: Association of the Wine Jumilla (ASEVIN)

Award Ambassador / a Jumilla 2013: D.

Labor Education Award 2013: Ms Ana Tomás Herrero.

Award for the Defence of Human Values ​​2013: Association of Relatives of Alzheimer and other dementias of Jumilla (AFAD)

Cooperation with the Municipality Award 2013: Rehabilitated Alcoholics arju Association of Jumilla

Equality Award: Jumilla Red Cross

Award for Social Work: Partnership, Protection and Defense of Animals and Plants "4 Legs Jumilla"

The jury, which was presided over by the mayor of Jumilla, Enrique Jimenez, with voice but no vote in the deliberations, together with the Secretary of the Corporation, met last week to determine the nine winners in this 2013 edition.

Its composition was: Marcial Bernal, a proposal of the PP group; Bartolomé Medina, at the proposal of IU-V Group, José Luis Soriano, proposed by the Socialist Group, Thomas Nicasio, village headman of the Farmhouse; Pascual Jesus Hernandez Director of IES Archbishop Lozano, Francisco Javier Vázquez, President of the Federation of Peñas; Juan Valero, Director of Aspajunide and Juan Antonio Soler, Director of Telecable Jumilla.

As in previous editions, or any Jumillano jumillana could submit their nomination to the different categories, referring the name of the candidate / aa mayor of Jumilla.

Of all these proposals, plus made "in voce" by jurors, have left the final names of the winners, whose work corresponds to the year 2013.

Enrique Jimenez, thanked the jury for their participation and congratulated on behalf of the corporation all the winners this year, "but people who have devoted their entire lives, much of it to Jumilla and facets that have been awarded ".

The gala awards ceremony to be held on Sunday, February 2, at 12.00 at the Teatro Vico, in a ceremony attended by the mayor, the municipal corporation, the winners, family and neighbors.
