Youth Councilman inaugurates computer course offered by the Department (22/01/2014)

On Monday, Councillor for Youth and New Technologies, Fernando Oñate, attending at the beginning of computing course that the Department has launched and has 17 students who will attend a total of 25 hours of training.

Within the content that students / as work basics of computer and internet, keyboarding, internet, web and web 2.0 and basic work in Windows are, among other matters, besides the Office Suite, ie Word and Excel .

The course will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 20.30 to 22.00, and will be taught by Juan Francisco Valero Sociocultural Center Roque Baños.

On the other aside, the Youth Council holds open enrollment period for the remaining courses offered such as body language workshop, a first aid course, digital video editing, guitar chords, Latin dance workshop knows your heritage or audiovisual dubbing workshop, in addition to the English course for travelers, in addition this time as a novelty.

Registration will be formalized in the Youth Council, located in the Garden of King Don Pedro, and once a minimum of 10 students completed the course with the scheduled dates will be scheduled.

Registration fees range from 5 to 35 euros, depending on the number of hours a course or workshop, and there are various bonuses and discounts up to 50% of the fee for children under 14, children under 35 years unemployed and those who have the Youth Card.

Also under 30 belonging to units of coexistence in which all its members are unemployed or earn pensions of Social Security less than the minimum pension amounts, shall be exempt from payment, upon his request.
