IU-Green explains the overall economic situation of the City: You need 7.6 million euros (17/03/2014)

From United Left-Greens claim that the positive view of the economy expressed by the Partido Popular is influenced by loans that currently has granted the city of Jumilla, especially the plan payment to suppliers.

They point out that they do not share the optimistic view of the PP in its recent announcement of the surplus.

Showing more moderate due to the large amount of money that the City owed on loans payable not end until 2022.

Contradict the statements of the Councillor of Finance, in which Alicia Abellan says its supposed positive data had resulted in the loss of services.

They argue that Jumilla cleaning services have reduced their hours by 50%, further cuts in procurement, social services and many municipal services are privatized.

IU-Green points out that the main difference between the previous and the current situation is the term of the debt, as it was before the short term and long term is now due to refinancing driven by the PP, but the situation is far from good because the interest on these deferrals are high.

Indicate that when 2015 begins, still have mortgaged with different banks and a total of 17 loans amounting to 7.6 million euros.

Highlights include the loan of 5 million euros of provider payment plan, in which the City must pay the bank 2 million euros in interest.

They believe that these economic data will not help solve one of the major problems of society, such as unemployment and the continued reduction of contributing to Social Security.

This is because the City can only use the remaining budget to afford to pay the debt.

Only can be used for other purposes when we are not subject to adjustment plan.

This obligation of the central government of the People's Party prevents use this money in employment plans or investments that stimulate the economy.

The perception of IU-Green is not positive since these data do not affect the daily life of the inhabitants of Jumilla.

Conclude lamenting the legacy of President of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, who will leave the presidency of the region leaving the fifth with more debt than Spain.

Qualifying for bad management of public debt, is that according to data released by the Bank of Spain, is a new record, reaching 93.9% of GDP.
