In this seventh edition of the series, six wineries will participate and a specialized local town, which offered live music and guided visits to its facilities and tastings of their wines and traditional cuisine of the area.

In the last five years, the number of visitors to wine tourism has doubled from 10,360 visits in 2009 to 22,800 in 2013, figures are expected to overcome this issue.

Two months tasting apace
The seventh edition of the series Music between wines, organized by the Jumilla Wine Route in collaboration with the Institute of Tourism, the City Council and the Regulatory Council of the Denomination of Origin Jumilla, will begin on 31 May with a ceremony in which Wine Route will give Gold Badge Jumillano doctor and academic, Ortuño Pacheco Guzmán.

The cycle of Music between Wines began in 2008 with the idea of ​​merging the culture of wine and music, due to the existence of bands and musical groups of different styles in the town, while the wineries involved demanded in the wine tourism activities to attract tourists to their wineries and by extension the town.
