The Community extends the service call to your emergency 1-1-2 in Jumilla (23/05/2014)

The regional government has approved an agreement between the Community, through the Presidential and Employment, and the city of Jumilla, in order to extend the Service Emergency Calling 1-1-2 with Murcia integration of this county.

Through this agreement, the Emergency staff of the City of Jumilla will have direct access to real incidents received by the 1-1-2 and are related to their town, so they can immediately activate time emergency services ensuring a fast, effective and coordinated action.

The Presidential and Employment is spreading among the municipalities in the region joining the 1-1-2 platform, which already have integrated 11 municipalities, such as Murcia, Cartagena, Lorca, Molina de Segura, San Javier, Mazarrón, Los Alcazares, San Pedro del Pinatar, Cotillas Towers and Yecla.

Through this agreement, the Ministry provides the required technological support to sustain the centers and platforms, equipment, hardware and software system for connection to 1-1-2-Murcia, as well as initial and ongoing training of municipal staff .

Specifically, training will be targeted to 40 people and will consist of two modules, one theoretical and one face practical, a minimum of 20 hours, respectively.

The 1-1-2 of the Region of Murcia has handled more than 16 million calls and handled more than five million cases since its entry into service in 1999. Their value service users with a rating of 8.99 out of 10. In addition, the Region of Murcia has been the first community to join the National Emergency Network (Renem) of the Ministry of Interior.

Currently, the 1-1-2 integrates services Emergency Coordination Centre of the Region of Murcia, comprising the Service Call 1-1-2, Emergency Coordinator (CCU) Center 061 emergency management, the Coordination Unit of the Consortium for Fire Fighting and Rescue (CEIS) of the Region Operational Coordination Center (CEPA) and the Service for Abused Women.

RENFE (Valencia), Military Unit - These security services and state emergencies, such as the National Police, Guardia Civil, Government Delegation in the Region of Murcia, Society of Maritime Safety (Cartagena SASEMAR) added Emergency (integration in the National Network of Emergency Ministry of Defence) and Spanish Red Cross in Murcia.
