Youth launched the program of activities "Young Summer 2014" (05/06/2014)

The Youth Council has released, the leisure organized for the coming summer months, within which are included workshops, trips and courses as well as night "Race and Leisure Share with consoles", which will take place 25 and 26 July.

Thus, the activities of the "Young Summer" will begin this weekend, Sunday June 8, a free trip to Benidorm.

Departure is at 9.00 am and return at 19.30, and young people have the option to go to Terra Mitica and Terra Natura.

All children must be accompanied by adults, and available seats will go in order of registration limited capacity of the bus.

Within travel this summer will be made for next Friday, July 4, is scheduled activity "Drop Safe" which will be priced at 12 euros, and which also will require registration in the Youth Council.

In addition, every Sunday in July, will be made trips to the beach, adjusted for those who have the Youth Card prices.

Moreover, within the program of courses that the Department develops throughout the year, June 10 Digital Video Course, which was held at the Roque Baños Sociocultural Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 20.00 to 22.00 start hours, and will feature a total of 25 hours of training.

After the training, will be awarded, as in the rest of the courses organized by the Department, a diploma to those who meet the 75% attendance.

Likewise, is scheduled for July during Expression and Relaxation, to be held in the morning, and whose schedule people finally decide to enroll in the course.

Finally, one of the novelties of the young summer grades will be the night "Compete with consoles Leisure and Share" which will take place on 25 and 26 July, the Central Market, from 18.00 to 00.00, in which will have 10 consoles, for young people to participate in internal competitions of different games and simulators.

Meeting youth correspondents

This week, the first deputy mayor, Alicia Abellan, and also Councillor for Education, Youth and Councilman Fernando Oñate, met with youth correspondents to put together the concerns that have been collecting for local youth, throughout the course.

One of the proposals presented correspondents, was the need to disseminate their work to all young people in the town aware of the figure of youth correspondent, and can access them, and transmit their requests.

In addition, they made a very positive self-assessment work throughout the year, also will share in the joint meeting with other youth stewards throughout the Region, on 23 June, in Murcia.
