Jumilla Mayor reaffirms the commitment of the government team for music teaching in the town (19/06/2014)

Eight students and a student of the Conservatory of Music of Jumilla, yesterday finalized his studies with the graduation ceremony, which will be delivered to the fringes, and a commemorative detail graduation, attended by the Mayor of Jumilla, Enrique Jimenez, the Councillor for Education, Alicia Abellan, and several members of the Municipal Corporation, among others.

Councillor for Education, was responsible for welcoming the event, which took place at the Municipal Auditorium "Julian Santos" from Jumilla.

In his speech, congratulated the students for completing their studies, and recognized the effort and dedication they have had to employ for six years of his academic life to get to obtain the degree of the Conservatory.

Also, I wanted to thank in a special way, trust that all teachers who make up the School and the Conservatory deposited in the government team, in the most delicate moments, highlighting the personal commitment made by all local executive, the mayor head, to maintain and improve music teaching in Jumilla.

The director of the School and Conservatory, Salvador Perez, meanwhile, wished them all kinds of personal and professional success in his new career, and encouraged them to continue fighting for the music, if that's your way.

Enrique Jimenez, Mayor of Jumilla, closed the ceremony highlighting the particular sensitivity with those who have the gift of music, and reaffirmed the commitment made by the government team, because Jumilla count with a wide range of Musical Education, " for which we will continue working, "he said.

During the ceremony, we had the performance of two students of music lessons in the art of percussion, Miguel Angel Bathrooms and José Manuel Espinosa, who accompanied by their teacher, Jesus Gonzalez, gave a concert with pieces including as Parade or Nana Mercedes Labyrinth of the Faun.
