IU-Greens want to continue taking steps to achieve effective equality between women and men in business (25/06/2014)

IU-Green asked in Parliament in June that a new clause be included administrative specifications for companies performing contracts with the City of Jumilla follow the law of equality.

They explain that this would mean that companies are obliged to respect parity between women and men, and stepping forward to achieve real balance between women and men in public procurement.

They ask that the City of Jumilla, as a contracting party, requiring private entities to promote real way to gender equality.

They believe that to achieve the principle of similarity between women and men is not enough only with the commitment of public agencies are required such measures.

They believe that the City should lead by example in the area of ​​equality, forcing companies to hire meet current regulations on effective equality between women and men, as established by the Organic Law 3/2007.
