Andrew and Ana Belén Garrigós Mico, winners of the fourth edition of the "10 miles Jumilla City" (29/07/2014)

With the participation of 247 athletes took place on Saturday the "10 miles Jumilla City", a sports event organized by the Athletic Club Gasóleos González Pérez Jumilla in collaboration with the Department of Sports.

Locally Jumilla, 75 of the 81 registered athletes crossed the finish line, which is a milestone in the sport Jumillano in quantity of participants.

In the top-ranked boys was David Gonzalez to fill the thirteenth place overall with a time of 37 minutes and 58 seconds, followed by Chico Carlos Monreal Jumilla Triathlon Club 38 minutes and 27 seconds, and Angel Lenci with the Tri Pro Pekabo a record of 38 minutes and 55 seconds.

As for the girls, the podium consisted of the aforementioned Freedom Pérez Hinneni Trail Running that won the game thanks to his third place overall, followed by Maribel Santos who invested time of 55 minutes and 13 seconds and Fina Guardiola Athletic Club Gasóleos Jumilla González Pérez 56 minutes and 15 seconds.

They, along with the other winners of different categories, received their awards from John Guardiola, President of the Athletic Club Gasóleos González Pérez Jumilla, Juan Manuel Abellan, Councillor for Sports, Pascual González, González Pérez Gasóleos manager and Angel Angel Lenci Intersport Sports.

In the preventive security involving dozens of personnel, including members of the Local Police, Civil Protection, Red Cross and more than 100 volunteers, who were watching over various organizational tasks.
