Children of Jumilla discover some of the flora and fauna of the municipality in children's activities organized Museums (10/09/2014)

About a dozen children participated this past Saturday in child activity organized by the Department of Culture and the House Museum, dedicated to the creation of chips on the flora and fauna of Jumilla.

The children had the opportunity to make two records, dedicated the first of them a butterfly, in particular of the species "Vanessa Cardo" and the second, the "Dalera" plant.

On the tab, children should specify the common and scientific name of the species, and characteristics such as color, size, in the case of the butterfly, and curiosities of the same.

Moreover, the activity was completed with viewing two documentaries, one about butterflies and their transformation from caterpillar, chrysalis and butterfly, and another on the documentary journey undertaken by a group of jumillanos, including the monitor was activity, Paco Lenci, about the trip to Equatorial Guinea and hunting butterflies.

The workshop will continue through the fall and winter, with different activities that will be completing the tabs and knowledge of participating children about the fauna and flora of Jumilla.
