The Department of Public Safety reported today the relocation of eight traffic lights in order to improve pedestrian movement of one of the busiest intersections in the municipality, such as the Liberty Avenue and Calle Valencia.
As explained Marina Garcia, "after studying traffic and creep step in both crosses, it has been concluded that the functionality of the light signal crossing Baron Solar with Milanos, would be better used on Liberty Avenue to Valencia, as this is an important transit point especially during Market Tuesdays ".
Thus, the lamp indication of the eight lights located in front of the Specialty Center, have moved to the junction of Avenida de Levante in Valencia Street, where he will from now, with pedestrian signaling animation and digital display of the time step and wait.
Moreover, the signs Market has been relocated to another intersection, so that in the first, the more pedestrian crossing will be marked with timestamps, and the second, less influx of step also will be adequately controlled with normal lights.
