The Municipal Museum of Natural Science is involved in a European initiative activity "Night of insects 2014" (23/09/2014)

It is an activity organized by the Department of Culture to develop Francisco Lenci, José Luís Fernando Lenci and Albert, jumillanos students of entomology, responsible for leading the initiative locally.

The activity will take place in two parts, first, Friday, September 26 from just before sunset until about 2330 hours, hunting insects by.

For this a fixed tower mixed light supplied by a generator around which the insect trap is mounted is installed.

The second part of the activity will take place on Saturday, September 27, from 11:00 to 13:00 pm in the Museum of Natural Science, where he will proceed to the classification and data collection of specimens counted and prepared for conservation within Collection Museum.
