The City of Jumilla participates in the Second Forum of Local Employment held yesterday at the University of Murcia (17/10/2014)

The City of Jumilla and some of its agents and technicians Local Development II participated yesterday in the Local Employment Forum organized by the University of Murcia and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, in the Centre for Rural Development and Local Employment.

The Conference aimed to serve as a meeting point and discussion for students, teachers and technical employment and local development who work or have an interest in promoting economic development and job creation.

This time employment forum has revolved around the Law 27/2013 of 27 December on Rationalisation and Sustainability of Local Government, law on the lectures by prominent personalities in this field focused.

In addition, the Forum has counted in last year, a job fair in which he will announce the work that is being developed with the participating institutions.

Moreover, this year as a novelty, were granted within the I Forum Local Development and Employment Awards, awarded by the Faculty of Labour Sciences, University of Murcia, which aim to encourage and promote good practice in Local Development and Employment, the work done by technicians and entities in the economic revitalization of the region and improving the quality of life of citizens.

Among the awards, the Head of Economy and Employment of the City of Jumilla, Angel Perez, was recognized as "Best Technical Local Development of the Year 2014" in which the impact is awarded to the agent's work has had on the environment in which they work and their impact on improving it, and his career.
