The Director General of Social Inclusion Programs closure in Jumilla workshop employability skills by 'Abraham Project' (24/11/2014)

A total of 14 people in the municipality at risk of social exclusion have successfully completed the skills workshop organized jointly employment by the 'Abraham Project' and the Department of Social Policy Association, in order to respond to the need career guidance to the most vulnerable and may have more difficulty finding gainful employment.

The Director General of Pensions, Assessment and Inclusion Programs Instituto Murciano Social Action (IMAS), Miguel Angel Miralles, participated this morning at the close of the workshop, with the mayor of Jumilla, Enrique Jimenez, an act which in addition was attended by the Councillor for Social Policy, John Calabuig, and the president of 'Abraham Project', Nuria García Clavijos.

According highlighted the CEO Miguel Angel Miranda "I am delighted to come here, because when things do well, I like to thank, and today we have you to thank the participants for your effort and interest, to Abraham Project by their work and their daily fight against social exclusion and the City, to facilitate the development of such initiatives. "

Also highlighted Miralles on students and participating students, as "the situation where you are is very hard, and City Hall as Jumilla know, bet on these policies and daily battle to see who else can do to improve your situation . You have much luck, because in other municipalities this is not done, and we have taken advantage. Working for you is an honor, and I wish all these courses serve you for sooner or later have a job, that's why we fight " .

Meanwhile the mayor of Jumilla, welcomed the visit of CEO Miguel Angel Miranda highlighting as "your presence here shows us the complicity that has the Regional Government with social issues, commitment grateful for the support that this implies."

Besides the mayor stressed the involvement of Abraham Project Association, not only social issues but also with environmental character, "a work which I know will continue, and that the City Council will favor the extent possible".

The event concluded with the presentation to the participants of a diploma of the training process.

During the workshop, participants have worked since self image and self-care, tools and dedication to the job search until submission, job interview skills in public speaking and debate, teamwork and creativity resolution conflicts, and languages, with small notions of practical English.
