The next Monday, December 1, World AIDS Day is commemorated, and with this, the Department of Youth and Health of the City of Jumilla, collaborate, as in previous years, with the campaign to prevent HIV and pregnancy desired, an informative day and a conference on "sexual and affective education", scheduled for Monday.
This year's campaign will focus on the delivery of information material in the Plaza del Rey Don Pedro, on Monday from 12.00 to 14.00.
The conference is organized by the Department of Promotion and Health Education Directorate General of Public Health of the Ministry of Health and Social Policy in collaboration with the Department of Youth and Health.
Thus, the office of youth, presented with bookmarks, male and female condoms and information materials, as a measure of awareness of the importance of prevention in the spread of sexually transmitted diseases, like AIDS.
Moreover, on Monday afternoon, at 20.15, will be held in the Sociocultural Centre Roque Baños a talk on "sexual and affective education" which will provide the psychologist Pascuala Bernal Ruiz directed to parents, guardians, professionals and young people who are interested in this topic.
HIV Prevention
1. Use a condom in all your sex (with or without penetration) because it is the only truly effective method to prevent infection.
2. Do not share objects that may be contaminated with blood: syringes, needles, razors, needles for tattoos, piercings, toothbrushes ...
3. Remember that the virus is present in both blood and semen, seminal fluid or vaginal secretions.
4. If you have sex with one person and do not want to use condoms, both must realize yourselves HIV testing and make a commitment to mutual fidelity.
