The City will receive a grant of 12,500 euros for the Local Employment Center (03/12/2014)

The City of Jumilla receive a grant of 12,500 euros to continue the program information services, counseling, activation and support to young people for their sustainable integration into the labor market during the year 2014.

This was reported by the Councillor for Youth, Fernando Oņate, who explained some details of the program, which aims to improve and refine the early activation processes intermediation and labor mobility of young people, particularly those without work and no integrated into education and training systems, as well as young people at risk of social exclusion and those from marginalized communities, taking into account at all times the different situations and needs of women and men, incorporating gender perspectives and promoting equal opportunities.

Also, through these grants will be launched in Jumilla Youth Guarantee Program.

To achieve these objectives, provide activation measures, guidance and support of youth and vocational guidance, employment information and support to improve their employability, through the Local Employment Center.

As highlighted by the councilman of Youth, Fernando Oņate, "this contribution is paid to assume part of the cost of used this 2014, although from the General Directorate of Youth and Sports is working to even increase this contribution by the year next ".

The Center, located in the Youth Council in the Garden of King Don Pedro offers various programs for job information, in which young people interested can meet business directories, employment promotion services to which they can turn to, or information about Formal and occupational training, and courses are conducted in Jumilla or other locations.

Likewise, the center offers job counseling in job search, through the design of a career path tailored to each person also providing techniques and tools for the job search.

Also in the youth center will find a self-employment assistance program, where you can develop a business plan and where detailed information on programs, grants or subsidies that can accommodate young people starting their own business will be provided.
