After the great success it has had since its inception School Empowerment, the Department of Equality prepared the last two sessions of the year will be led by a party to report on the cultural resources of the municipality, and secondly, the workshop laughter therapy, activity which will close by 2014.

Laughter is otherwise responsible for Empowerment School dismiss this 2014, through a laughter therapy workshop, in which promoting positivity in the day, applied to everyday life work.

Laughter therapy is a technique by which this is achieved, among other things, increase self-esteem, develop creativity, reduce embarrassment, enhance memory, concentration and meet new people with whom to share a pleasant experience.

The session will take place on Tuesday, December 16th, and will last the year.

Last week the psychologist PAE, Marta López was responsible for conducting the workshop "Learn to say no" aimed at conflict resolution and develop assertiveness in social and personal relationships, in which many women participated.

As highlighted by the Councillor for Equality, Alicia Abellán, "from the Department we are very happy with the outcome of the School of Empowerment, and the response that women are giving this initiative, which has become for many, a fixed appointment of the week, a space to learn, but mostly to share moments and promoting social relations ".
